AGROTEK
AGROTEK's a resort placed at hulu langat (near cheras , I think-Selangor. It is one of the resorts around there besides the other camp sites, etc.
It was a great place tough. The nuance's really friendly, the env's fascinating! Back to nature..(of course, haha, it is surrounded by forest). But, no hp signal nor wifi there...-->back to ancient..wkawka...
outdoor activity
They have good facilities around there. near the resort, there is river. the water's nice.
Well, I invited by Majelis Teater Kuala Lumpur to be guest performer and panelist to speak about culture and literature at Indonesia.
It was really great. We'd spent much time to share about those topic.
I started my journey on Saturday morning. We were joining poetry
workshop by wak khalid-one of the most famous poet at Malaysia, and having sorta informal performance at night. The seminar participants used to perform their masterpiece while joining the seminar in 3 days. It was one of the marvelous program I've got, bcz the concept was too informal. we were just sitting/group on the mat surrounding a canal and performed the poetry...
romantic place, huh?
hurm,, the other interesting part was opening and closing dances. It was performed by Javanese citizen! They brought Tari Merak (Peacocks Dance) and Tari Kipas (Fan Dance)... It was just fabz!
With dancers from Middle Java
We shared a lotta knowledge with all participants too, because they were all come from Cultural Institution, teacher, artist, journalist etc. Those who were really interested in culture and literature.
Besides, there were also guest from Brunei, Singapore and Thailand. They were represented their own cultures.
Sharing : From left to right : Lida-Brunei, Nik Asini Amei-Thailand, Saleh Buang-S'pore, Inggie-Riau
And the most interesting moment is meet and greet with Dato' A. Samad Said. He's one of MY's top figures!
-->Me with Dato' A. Samad Said and his wife (right-side of me) and Puan MTKL
He shared a lot aboout his novel and how does artwork could be appreciated...
Well, yeah. it was a piece of my journey becoming young panelist... see ya!
